DTC Computer Supply is a privately held Corporation and our strategy is simple, service is number one!! We are located in Rancho Cucamonga, Ca. and are 45 miles South of Los Angeles. We have sales offices in Oregon, and Ct.
 
DTC was established back in 1969, which meant Data Tape Company. Theodore R. Kinsley was the original owner and had a vision to re-certify ½ 3420 computer tapes. In 1970 he purchased his first Tape certifier from Recortec. Throughout the 70’s AND 80’s thousands of 3420 tapes were re-certified and sold
 
In 1988 he passed away and the trade name  Data Tape Company (DTC) was incorporated to DTC Computer Supplies . In 1990, Jeff Brown was brought in as a partner along with Mike Kinsley. The match between the two, Mike in sales and management and production working in the West coast and Jeff, working in the East and having years of not only phone sales experience but having outside sales under his belt made a great team!
 
Marc Curd has been involved with DTC for over 25 years. He handles the entire West Coast purchasing and has a hand in the everyday running of DTC. Looking forward to the 50th year university!!!
 
In 1996, Rick and Monica Hardy joined the team of DTC. Their experience and knowledge in this field of Ribbons, Toner and Tape Media backup is amazing. If you can’t find something, get with Rick and if he can’t find it, it’s not out there!!! They are not only great sales associates but also lifelong friends!!
 
Robert Burgess, is an inside sales associate and has been with DTC since 1997. In 2002 Robert became our #1 inside sales associate in both new accounts and increase in sales revenue.
In 1999, Dustin and Nick Kinsley came on board, Dustin running the repair division and Nick doing shipping and production. In 2004 Nick went into sales and Dusty is running both the repair division and production. Between the two of them and a vision of a 3rd generation the sky is the limit, the faster the better they are automation minded!!!
 
And to our front office, Tambra and Grace. Tambra came on board in 1998. She is in charge of our A/P and returns department. Watch out she likes to hold on to the money as long as she can. Great team player!! Grace started with us in 2001 and she runs the entire A/R department, handles the phones, collects the money and make sure the orders are correct

To all the others the complete the family of DTC, Jared Moré webmaster, Steven Sicklesteel, IT and repair, Craig Hendricks sales department and to our production and shipping/receiving department, Norma, James, Blanca, Nick, Leoria, Mark and Doris.
 
Throughout the 60’s’,70’s,80’s,90’s DTC has not only re-certified and re-condition ½ magnetic Tape we have expanded our re-certified media to include DLT Tapes, 3480,3490 tapes, 8MM / 4MM tapes. Also 9940, 9840, 3592, 3590 and 3570 tape media. In 2006 we started doing full data removal and data destruction and take great pride in our service. Both Jeff and myself stress not only service, but our quality is unbeatable. Our policy is like it or return it; if you are not satisfied with our product or service you can return the product. On NEW product warranty is covered by the manufactures but we in most cases can take care of it for you, return the product for replacement and we will deal with the manufactures.

Our special thoughts go out to Thomas Mc Gaughy, my brother-in –law he was with me from the start and was always there for me. He passed away in 2006 and is missed every day and will always be in my thoughts!!
