Recertified Tapes and Cartridges

Tapes

Buying bulk recertified backup tapes can be a huge cost-saver for your company. We have been in the tape recertification business since 1971, you can be confident that buying recertified media from us will be a pleasurable and profitable experience. DTC recertified magnetic computer tape (3,600' - 2,400' - 1,200' - 600') are cleaned then tested at both 1,600 and 6,250 DPI and are either put on new reels and seals or "like new" reels and seals per your request. All tapes come with a 5 year full replacement warranty.

Cartridges

DTC is a leading recycler of tape cartridges (LTO, DLT, SDLT, 3590, 3570, mammoth, AIT) which allows you to save substantially on your media purchases. All cartridges are from companies that are either changing media format or closing a location.

Most cartridges have only been used once, and that's before we clean, test, re-tension and degauss the product in our in-house labs. These cartridges are packaged and sold in a "like new" condition - at a substantial savings to you.

Printer Toner Cartridges

DTC remanufactured toner cartridges are broken down and all internal parts are replaced. All drums are replaced with long life drums and boxed in a "like new" condition. We specialize in HP cartridges, and we are the best in the West in MICR toner cartridges. We have been recycling toner cartridges since 1992.

Data Tape Buyback

If you want to sell used data tapes, we can help. Your current tape library may be worth money. You can sell the tapes back to us and we will give you credit toward your new or recertified tape order. There is no reason to worry about security, we assure data confidentiality and fully degauss and destroy any information that may be on your tape.
